Rianna awarded first ‘Wallace’s Sporting Scholarship’ 11/10/15

Rianna Jarrett of Wexford Youths Women’s FC has been named as their first recipient of the ‘Wallace’s Sporting Scholarship ‘ to mark Wallace’s being 70 years in business, employing 170 people over 7 outlets.

This new annual award of €500 is directed towards youths in sport who have excelled in their field or have a bright future ahead but need financial assistance to further their sporting career & goals due to their circumstances.

The 2015 winner Rianna is a member of Wexford Youths Women’s FC and played a significant role in their National League Champions 2041/15 Win & their UEFA Women’s Champions League campaign. She is tipped as a star of the future!

She is currently injured and all at Wallaces we want to wish her all the best for her expected return to play at the game on  Sat. 31 October Wexford Youths WAFC v Peamount United in Ferrycarrig Park at 7.30 pm. Rianna is pictured with Joesph Wallace on presentation of the €500 Sports Bursary..


On another note our new look SuperValu ( 30yrs in operation) is due to be completed and offically opened on the 19th November after a near 2m euro refit!
